Our cement plant laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC/1025 standard with International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ), an independent organization that carries out technical audits of testing laboratories.
Our cement has been independently tested and meets the physical and chemical requirements of ASTM C 150-04a, the standard specification for Portland Type 1 Cement (Click here to see a test quality certificate)

Environmental commitment
Fiji Industries Ltd, a locally-controlled company, has committed itself to reducing the impact of cement production on the environment. This was made possible in 2004 following a $4m restructure of our cement-making process. Now carbon dioxide has been reduced, dust emissions and water run-off have stopped, and we no longer dredge the Suva Harbour for coral sand.
